Hi! My name is Paul Grymaud. I live in Belgium. I could have played football or theater, but no, I play the banjo. After classical musical studies (violin, singing) I was hypnotized by the sound, which I discovered a long time ago. Pete Seeger and Earl Scruggs were the revelations that really helped me understand the basics of the instrument. Then I discovered the richness of the melodic style: Carl Jackson, of course, but also Bill Keith, Eric Weissberg and Alan Munde.
I also play piano and acoustic guitar. If the album meets with a positive response, I'll be preparing a second album for 2024. That's a promise!
